- Where is Mystic Sands located
We are located in an outer island in the Kingdom of Tonga called Vava'u. There are direct flights here from Fiji and also from the main island of Tonga called Tongatapu. Conveniently Mystic Sands is on an island but there is a causeway/bridge that connects it to the main isand of Vava'u so you can still go to restaurants and bars in town if you want a nigth out. Our relaxed accommodation is the perfect place to come and enjoy the tropical sun, sand and amazing clear blue waters on offer in Tonga. All rooms have free in room hi speed starlink internet and high quiality airconditioning (except the house that is too big and open to effectivly have aircon) All of our rooms have king size high quality beds, electric ceiling fans, private bathroom with toilet, hot and cold water in the shower, small safe, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee plunger, cook top and electric kettle. Each room has its own deck with table and chairs.
- Are kids welcome:
YES, kids are welcome and we have a childrens infinity pool where they can play safely in easy view of parents. We have 3 room types and most have an extra bed however we always reccommend people travelling with children to enquire with us directly before booking so we can assist them in choosing the right room type depending on age and number or children.
- Do you have a restaruant
YES, but it is not open to the public, it is strictly for guests.
- Can i self cook
YES, all rooms have a kitchenette. You can cook yourself, order in or go out to restaurants.
- I want to go on a whale swimming trip, can i get picked up at Mystic Sands
YES, we have a very good wharf and are perfectly located on the waterways to the whale swmiiming area so all companies (Except those on small private islands) can pick you up here.
- Do you offer diving or sorkel trips
YES, although we do not have our own diving company onsite we help book for our clients and they can get picked up by boat from our wharf.
- Is it possible to snorkel at Mystic Sands and is it a good place to do so
We have very good snorkaling right here at Mystic Sands, there are countless small fishes multiple types of seastars, coral and much much more.
- Do you have kayaks for free use
YES, we have several double and single kayaks for our guests use and also a SUP. If you would like a kayak seat or need a snorkel mask please ask us. There are several amenities that we have to keep out of the sun so they might not be easy to find.
